This was the most controversial topic this past week: To be more inclusive, Hasbro decided to rebrand “Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head” to “The Potato Heads”. Tragic, right? Imagine getting upset for that…

BREAKING NEWS:

TO BE GENDER NEUTRAL TOO, HASBRO TO CHANGE NAME TO “HASPARTNER” OR “HASFRIEND”!

A lot of people took to their social media to express their discontent about this, claiming, of course, that their entire views on genders were established at a young age thanks to Mr and Mrs Potato Head, and that it might confuse their children (as if they couldn’t have a normal conversation with their children and explain them things). Hasbro even had to reply to it, in the following tweet:

Now, ToyFarce has heard that there are rumors that they might take a few other steps in that direction, starting from their very own brand name!

“You see, the ‘Bro’ in ‘HASBRO’ is not very gender neutral, so we think it might be time to change that, in order to be more inclusive too. We’re thinking ‘HASPARTNER’ or ‘HASFRIEND’. We’ll probably run a poll to see which is the favorite one!”.

Another thing: The classic game “Guess who?”. Let’s just say it will be more difficult now…
