EVERY YEAR, THOUSANDS OF ACTION FIGURES ARE DISMEMBERED TO USE THEIR BODY PARTS AS ACCESSORIES!
Hasbro, Mattel, McFarlane Toys… Those are but a few of the big brand names that are still allowing this to happen. Over the last decade, more and more brands have turned a blind eye over action figures being dismembered in order to use their body parts as accessory for other figures. When a dinosaur figure comes out with a human arm to munch on as an accessory, well… that arm belonged to an action figure! We must not let this massacre continue.
The McFarlane Toys single release of King Shark from Suicide Squad comes with an arm and a leg. If the figure becomes hard to find, it will also cost an arm and a leg.
“Oh, you want this Mattel Comic-Con Exclusive set? Here is what it will cost you…”
McFarlane Toys was already using body parts in 2013, with one of his early Walking Dead figures (Penny Blake, comic book series, wave 2) actually coming with a BUCKET full of body parts. 3 heads, hands, feet, arms… THIS SLAUGHTER NEEDS TO STOP!
