that are flooding everyone's social media feeds with their ads. It is
also common knowlege that all the products that are advertised are
generally Chinese counterfeit, bootlegs or knock-offs of the actual
product, and their value is way less than what is advertised.
This is why the story of Eric, an action figure collector from Nevada, will shock you!
Eric ordered a cheap version of a very expensive figure on Wish, and ended up actually getting the real thing!
"It
was a thursday afternoon, and I was looking for a good deal on the
massive Iron Man Hulkbuster figure from Hot Toys. You can usually find
it for around $1000/$1500 online.", Eric says. "So you can imagine my
surprise when I saw one for $29 on Wish, and with free shipping! It was
obvious to me that it was never going to be real... so I ordered it
anyway, just to see what would come up".
After a
few weeks of patience, the package finally arrived to Eric. "What was
odd, at first, is that the box was actually huge, really heavy and
looked exactly like a real Hot Toys shipper box, the kind that
collectors love to have and always ask for.", Eric added. "Then, when I opened it, it
really looked like the real one! Same box, same figure and accessories.
For real! I had it authentified at my local comic book store, and they
said it was indeed a 100% genuine Hot Toys MMS510 Avengers Age of Ultron
Iron Man Hulkbuster Deluxe. I swear!"
